Los Alamos ScienceFest
July 12-16th, 2024
ScienceFest features a week of interactive activities, competitions, speakers, tours, and exhibits to engage the public in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) topics. Participate in the featured "Discovery Day" event at Ashley Pond Park - fun for all ages with STEAM booths, live music, food vendors and more!
Tuesdays @ the Square
Every Tuesday in June and July
Presented by Los Alamos MainStreet and Creative District and sponsored by Zia Credit Union, Tuesdays at the Square (formerly at Ashley Pond) is gearing up for a rocking summer.
This year from 6-8 pm, Tuesdays will be activating the Central Park Square lawn next to Boese Bros with six Tuesday evenings of live music, spanning rock, jazz, blues, and more.
In addition to live music, there will be pop-up science fun, a beer garden, and opportunities for picnicking and art-making.

Los Alamos MainStreet is a volunteer driven organization. Following the best practices as established by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, we have standing committees that implement all our projects. We invite you to join our volunteer corps, a wonderful group of individuals, students and community leaders. Meet new friends, try out new skills and have fun as you help support the MainStreet District. Opportunities range from volunteering for specific events to joining one of our Creative District committees.
